2. Data processed
Where you contact us through this website, by email (talep@akalyonetim.com.tr) or by phone, the following are processed:
- Identity: name and surname
- Contact: phone number, email address
- Enquiry: property type, number of units, district, message content
- Request content: anything you include in your request; if you write by email, the message itself (subject, text, date sent) and its attachments (photos, documents)
- Technical: IP address, browser information, cookie records
Unless your request needs it, please do not send special-category personal data such as health information or identity documents, or images of other people.
3. Purposes
- Responding to your quote or information request
- Contacting you and arranging a survey
- Conducting negotiations for a service agreement
- Recording fault, maintenance and service requests for the sites we manage, passing them to our staff and contractors, and following them up until resolved (email sent totalep@akalyonetim.com.tr is recorded automatically in our request management system)
- Contacting you about the status of your request
- Meeting our legal obligations
- Keeping the website secure and functioning
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on Article 5 of the KVKK:
- Necessity for the formation or performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c)
- Necessity for compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç)
- Legitimate interests, without prejudice to your fundamental rights (Art. 5/2-f)
- Otherwise, your explicit consent (Art. 5/1)
5. Transfers
Your data may be transferred, only so far as necessary for the purposes above, to authorised public bodies, to our lawyers where legal proceedings require it, to the maintenance, repair and technical contractors we use to carry out your request, to SMS and email delivery providers, and to suppliers providing our infrastructure (email, hosting), in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.
6. Retention
Data is retained for as long as the purpose requires and until the limitation periods in the relevant legislation expire, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Records of fault, maintenance and service requests are kept for as long as we provide management services for the site concerned and for the general limitation period (10 years) after those services end. The copy of email sent to talep@akalyonetim.com.tr that is kept for transfer into the request system is deleted once it is no longer needed, and at the latest when the retention period of the request record ends.
7. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may apply to the data controller to:
- Learn whether your data is processed
- Request information if it has been
- Learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly
- Know the third parties to whom it is transferred, in Turkey or abroad
- Request correction if incomplete or inaccurate
- Request erasure or destruction
- Request that such steps be notified to third parties
- Object to an adverse outcome produced solely by automated analysis
- Claim compensation for loss caused by unlawful processing
